​​​​​​Hello! My name is Erin Blach, and I’m a recent graduate from Loyola Marymount University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Recording Arts with a minor in Animation.

I grew up in Elko, a small town in rural Nevada, where limited resources and funding for public education and the arts shaped my early experiences. Despite these circumstances, throughout my childhood I was determined to make the most of my opportunities. I immersed myself in many creative extracurricular activities, including dance, which first introduced me to how music and audio can enhance visual storytelling. To support my dance team, I began selecting, editing, and mixing music for performances, which sparked my passion for audio and ultimately led me to pursue it more seriously. By my senior year of high school, I took a leap and applied to a top film school — something no one from my small hometown had ever done.

 

Since moving to Los Angeles and attending Loyola Marymount University, I’ve fully embraced the opportunities I didn’t previously have access to. I’ve worked on numerous film productions, gotten involved across campus, held multiple jobs, and pursued internships to broaden my experience, all while balancing a full-time course load.

I am grateful for the journey so far, and I’m excited to continue exploring the possibilities that lie ahead!
